Airstream Newbies

We just purchased our first Airstream. She is a 1967 Globetrotter. We are so excited and cannot wait to start this Grand Adventure!

Congrats on the acquisition. I'm excited for y'all. The 66, 67, and 68s were great years for Airstreams. A lot of new changes occurred during that era.

Leicalla,

Congratulations, welcome to Airstreaming and the many great adventures you'll experience. As you travel about be prepared for a few questions and admirers. Mostly the questions will be; What year is it?, Do they still make those?, and How much does it weigh. We've found ourselves answering those questions and giving tours at gas stations, rest areas, and even at the dump station of a state park.

Enjoy,
Roy and Marie

Now all y'all have to do is find an awning to fit it, and a furnace if you plan on staying in it during cooler nights.
Your delivery guy nearly brought you the wrong old Airstream, luckily I caught him, and showed him where yours was. Trust me when I say you wouldn't have wanted the one he was going to deliver...

I am going to contact Marti's awnings to see if she can make us one to fit. I like her old school style awnings.
