Thanks again!
When I saw your original post I remembered this has been discussed on the forums before. I think maybe the long-term parking is part of your problem in Dallas. I have only stayed in one place that had that "10 year" sign. As we drove in and when I went inside the clerk only asked if I had a reservation and i said no, but asked - pointing outside at our 1976 AS - "will that be a problem?" She smiled and said "Oh, Airstreams are always welcome!" So I think it's situational.

One of those earlier threads had someone who posted a response that the owner of a place that restricted by age, looked at his much-older AS and said, "Looks like a 2010 Classic to me!"

Come on guys. As a previous Prevost owner, (try saying that 5 times) give me a break.

Okay. Take a break.

I can't speak for anyone else on the Forums, but my tale was about a specific Prevost owner, not all Prevost owners. So you you weren't in your previous Prevost at Lake Bruin State Park on Mardi Gras weekend, you're off the hook as far as I'm concerned.

Is this about Prevost owners? I have met two types....those who think they have no need for a black water tank deodorizer and those who are reasonable. But, also knew one who had spent about $250,000 in maintenance over eight years. Then there is the stranded variety when their slide out interlock fails and the bus will not move.

The nicest folks were the drivers for NASCAR, and suggested I tag along when I was in my moho returning from Wisconsin to North Carolina.....but at 70 mph, I could not afford the fuel...LOL

There are some Prevost owners whose bus is less than five years old, have big money, egos, poor social skills, and no need for the deodorizer, or so they think... but, many are extremely gracious and as fine a folks as most Airstreamers.....

The trailers are too old, the drivers are too young, the trailer is too short for the RV park, the trailer is too long for public lands, pets are not welcome or they are, but not your breed of pet. Your membership isn't good here. Your tow vehicle is dangerous. Don't rest at the rest stop!

It sounds like a travelling condo association or HOA.

I looked up the prices on these prevost. They're kinda expensive, huh ?

Don't know what the actual selling prices are but there's new list of over a million bucks. Think if I just dropped that I might talk the same way. My prevost goes camping with it's pet owners inside.

Should ask if the prevost has a 30A hookup for my bambi, otherwise I'm not interested.
