Airstream arrived

Picked up my 23 foot safari on the 29th and had a real good check out by colonial Airstream. They set up my truck and off I went. 135 miles to my house on Long Island without a problem. We are packing it for our month long stay at Fort Wildness this January. If anyone is down their hope they look us up. Thats it for now Take care and happy holidays to all. Rob

Very cool.

What's really great is that for most of us, looking forward to the next trip is ever better.

Get used to that feeling of anticipation. I get it every time we decide to go somewhere. Now get out there and try and wear that trailer out.
I'd rather be boon docking in the desert.

Lucky Lucky Lucky

A whole month at Fort Wilderness.....that is one heck of a way to start your Airstreaming experience.....enjoy you new second home!

Travel is in my blood, adventure is my passport, aluminum is my favorite construction medium, and therefore, an Airstream was my destiny.

I just finished securing the Safari in its winter garage and my wife is saying she wishes we could go somewhere with it!

Enjoy the new toy.

ANTICIPATION......We'll not be using our new AS until the spring. We'be purchased it, we're paying for it, but we've never spent any time in it. All weekend I've been planning our New Mexico trip next spring and then off to Lancaster, PA for 4-5 nights. We plan to use that thing! But, not until the spring and this is the tough time!!! Wait, anticipate, plan, think, wish, dream, and then, finally the time is here. Enjoy your time onboard!!!!

New York City traffic.

Katsix, what roads and bridges or better yet, what roads and bridges are you allowed to use to get to the west side of the Hudson River. I've had thoughts of going out to the east end of Long Island
