Adopting a '78 Safari

Well after a few years of trolling craigslist and looking at a few trailers here and there..I found one that looked decent, I could afford, and well my wife let me buy. We are now the proud owners of a 1978 23' Safari and to be perfectly honest I am now scared to death. I know nothing about RV's, towing, repair, etc but I guess I am going to learn. I am bringing her home of Friday and I guess that's when the fun begins.

The exterior is good but the plumbing and most of floor is shot BUT all appliances and electrical apparently work. All cabinets and doors are good but couch/beds are gone, windows are clear and intact, well one is a plexi replace, but at least one leaks.

So hello everyone and someone please tell me its not going to be as bad as I think!

I will post a few pics once she is home and parked next to the garage on the pad that I had poured 5 years ago in anticipation of this very day!

Congrats on your "new" hobby. Someone once told me about silver dreams. Now I know what they meant. A lot of good people here to advise and direct you. Pictures are always helpful and welcomed.
