Additional Sleeping Space in Sport 22FB

Hello Fellow Airstreamers,

Of course seeking advice from this awesome forum that I've been following now for months. My husband and I have a 2017 Airstream Sport 22FB that we LOVE. It's our first RV purchase. We have 2 kids that sleep in the area where the dinette converts to a bed. Besides a sleeping bag or cot, has anyone done anything to actually extend that bed area width-wise. Something perhaps along the lines of the picture that I'm attaching that would give the kids maybe a foot more of space to spread out.
