A Newbie Owning an AS--1976 Safari

Just wanted to say hi and introduce myself. I have been checking out this sight for a couple of years. Finally decided to join last month, and as luck would have it, I found a 1976 Safari just my size and just my price last weekend. Yahoo!!! I am so excited!!! So if everyone will bare with me, I have lots and lots of questions. I had it checked out friday, and was told for it's age, it's in great shape. So after I give it a good cleaning, will probably want to update and/or change some things. And will post some pictures when I can. Thanks for listening......Yahoo!!! LOL I own an airstream!!!!

Howdy and to Airforums, and congratulations on your purchase!

How about some photos? We are always eager to see another Airstream on the forums.

I tend to agree that you will need to update and/or change some things. But don't worry, ask away, we have lots of answers!

Gotta bring pictures to party!

Welcome to the fun (and games) of owning a Vintage Airstream. There are a lot of us with similar aged units so ask away, we may actually have some answers.

Welcome. I bought a 78 that "didn't need much either" 10 months later I have a mostly new frame and floor and am finally starting to rebuild. It has been a blast though. Enjoy.
