73 Overlander for the family

GREETINGS!!! Newbie Airstream owner of a 1973 Overlander. The previous owner took great care of it and did quite a bit of restoration work on the electrical, plumbing, and exterior. Have to say that seeing the silver in the driveway makes me happy. (Irritates the HOA, but they will get over it.) I have a family of 7 so I'm considering some renovation to better fit everyone, but have really enjoyed the 3 trips in it so far even if kids sleep on the floor.

Only problem at the moment is that I took it to a local RV service place here in TX to fix some crushed LP line and ever since the oven doesn't work and they capped off my stove and told me it wasn't safe. We had used both without any issues up until taking it to this shop, but they said that there were leaks and I don't want my family getting hurt. Anyone in the San Antonio area who knows of a good Airstream service shop that might be able to help me out with getting these back up and running, please post back.

"Not Safe" is a pretty broad term. What part is "not safe", valves, vents, etc. Get a better discription of what is "not safe".

By the way, Welcome to the forums. Any and all questions can be most likely answered by someone here.

A neighbor in a nearby town experienced all three of his children dying one night in a camper with a gas leak. Personally, I wouldn't use a camper with gas fixtures without checking them all out first. My trailer is a 1976. I didn't even check out all the gas fixtures, I just ordered all new. Now, I'll check out the new appliances and fixtures before I use the trailer.

Eastern South Dakota is very pretty with hills, rivers, and trees.
