Been reading this forum for a few years now with lots of interest and amusement. Bought a sweet little A/S about five years ago for a song. Everything working and dry inside. Since the more recent purchase of a V8 truck I've been able to haul it home from my hunting camp and tinker with it at home. With the help of my patient wife the curtains and upholstery have been upgraded and a few homey touches have been added.
My biggest dilemma to date is what to do about the RM67 Dometic fridge.
It works fairly well, but the door assembly is deteriorating...gasket is not tight and interior door pan is cracked and starting to fall apart. I have disassembled the door, and am contemplating trying to put the door pan back together like a jigsaw puzzle with some epoxy or fiberglass and resin for lack of any idea about where to get a replacement. Any thoughts?

Here is a copy of the service manual if that helps.

If the inside door piece is made of ABS plastic you could mix some ABS plastic and MEK and glue it back together with that.
Whittled some plastic off parts that would not show and soaked them in MEK for a day to make up a paste.

Better yet get some ABS cement from Ace Hardware and glue it all back together from the back side.

Check out:
Parts needed: Fan for roof vent or whole vent fan assembly, vented catalytic heater.
My blog for the 1975 Tradewind restoration, Has not been updated in a while but I am still working on it.
