'71 Overlander Newbies

Hello All,
Figured we'd chime in. We're new to airstreaming by luck, took a new job in Steamboat Springs, and needed to be up here at the end of ski season. With no rentals available, we bought a '71 Overlander (my wife corrected me, that it's a '71 after I created a login name) to live in temporarily. Temporarily has turned in to two months so far, and we're perfectly fine with it, will probably go in to the summer while the other house sells...

It's working out great, and super comfortable for my wife and I and a large dog (great pyrenees)... I'd recommend it for any one in a similar situation.

Welcome to the forum! We originally got our 72 to fix up and sell but once we started working on it, it became an obsession and now we wouldnt take anything for it!

Hi there;
We are too the proud owners of a 27' Overlander '71.
We live two monthes each years now and it's always a great pleasure to do that. We have just got it from the storage to organise the season and make some repairs ( the univolt is dead ) ; See our blog for the story of this trailer and may be, have some ideas in deco... why not .
Welcome in this great forum.

Bruno.
