692 first post. A 2nd generation WBCCI'er & 692 was Dads #. He would be surprised that we have our 2nd AS as we were enjoying Oregon's backpacking trails with our family as they traveled with Wally in the 1950's to 80's.
Our #16921, is the closest we could get when we joined. Enjoy caravanning.
Have 2004 25' Classic & GMC Yukon. Enjoy reading the forms & have some thoughts on saving WBCCI. It must become more of a travel club as the Airstreams of tomorrow will not be recognizable as we know them. Look at the Detroit Auto Show, a Ford Airstream concept van thats not even a camper. THOR will have new marketing ideas for AS and WBCCI must
and should try new ideas; remember Wally was an adventurer into new areas
of manufacturing as well as travels.. tcg

Welcome to the forums 682. My wife and I love the northern Oregon coast and enjoy traveling throughout the coast. I also agree that the WBCCI should get back to its roots to being a camping club.

692, welcome! I bet you've got some fantastic stories and pictures since you grew up in an Airstream family - glad you are keeping the tradition going. Keep an eye out for NW area forums rallies, and hope to meet you on the road one day!

Welcome 692, great to see a second-genner in the fold. About the possibility Mel mentions of pics of camping in the past with your parents Airstream - and their travels with it - wondering if you have any of those you would be willing to post as others have. We love living vicariously in the past by looking at the pictures. Of course some of us lived in the past , but for the younger crowd.
