'68' sovereign

I am new to the airstream world and am trying to buy a '68' sovereign that has been modified (a bit). Does not have a toilet and no propane tanks. I am wondering the cost of replacing these items and also what should I look for in this trailer (that might be an issue)? Don't know when last the bearings were repacked but I will have to tow it from Santa Fe to Austin. When I get it home I will be parking it for a while (it will serve as a two day a week living space).
Thx.

Mike, welcome to the forums!
In order to answer your questions, we need more information. Are the propane tanks the only thing missing? If so, you can get a pair of 30 pound steel tanks from any RV dealer, probably for less than $100, empty.
Is the toilet the only thing missing, or are the fittings and mounts and holding tank missing as well?
As far as what to look for, floor rot, leaks, and worn out axles are the biggest problems. The air conditioner and fridge are big ticket replacement items as well, if they don't work.

68 sovereign

Thanks Terry,
I believe the holding tank is gone - don't know about the fittings or mounting for the toilet. Don't know about axles either. I will looking for that info. next. It's got a new fridge and the air blows cold. No leaks of any kind.
Still tryin'
