Yours could have been made at the other factory. airstream had two factories back then one in Ohio and one in California. Mine was made in California.

It is def California made from serials and the fact it's a whale tail 1954s last flying cloud was serial 7750 1955s first made flying cloud was 7751 mine is 7752 there are a lot of things that make this flying cloud unique and different from any other layout it has no spout under front window it has three full size side windows driver side front bathroom is immediately to left on passenger side the bed is setup like a twin but a wrap around twin no recess for nightstand two vents on driver side middle body no full size stove stove and sink are both on driver side table and two chairs setup it's unique enough being the second off the line but they layout is very different then all I have seen

Been considering selling it because I have a baby on the way and don't have time to work on it anymore just not sure what it's worth being number 2 made and such a unique layout everything is there and intact with an amazing shell only downside is it will need floor work
