1984 310 ltd motorhome

Hi everybody, new member percy here, U.K. based, just purchased a 1984 310 limited, its being shipped over right now to the U.K. for touring and for touring europe. I had been looking for the 'right' one for over a year but I'm sure its worth the wait !. I have a question - does anyone have any experience with mating the 4 speed 700r4 'lockup' auto transmission to the 454 chevy as fitted to my 310, and would this be a good swop for usability / economy. thanks percy

hi again, can anybody tell me what this number relates to on my airstream please its important I think, 1GBKP 37WXE 33050 32 any help would be most helpful. thanks, percy.
