1978 25-foot Caravan

We're still pinching ourselves! We purchased our Airstream tonight and are about a week away from having our new baby home with us.
We can't wait to take her camping and see the different ways she enriches our lives.
I'm new to the whole Airstream community, but am very thankful to everyone who posts here. What a great community to be a part of!

Congrats! We have a 1978 28' Ambassador. It is a great year to have. Very cool trailers from that era and parts are still readily available. Have fun.

Congrats! The Caravanner is a super awesome trailer - I love all of those windows and the open design. Hope you enjoy it!

Congratulations on your new trailer. The Caravanners are one of my favorite trailers. Such a spacious open airy feel in only 25ft, and you've got to love the number of windows!!!! Pictures please

Do you have the Caravanner model or are you using the word caravan to indicate a trailer ?

No, it is a Caravanner. Two sofa's (gauchos?) instead of a bed. It's perfect for our little family. We are planning a short road trip next week to test it out.

I'll post pics as soon as we have her here at the house. Thanks for the warm welcome. We're really excited about road trips with our son. What a great experience for him (and us).

Welcome to the forum and to the Airstream community. I really like having a 25 foot trailer, it allows me to get to places I probably would not be able to with a longer one.

Congratulations. We are camping right now in our new to us 1978 Ambassador. We love her and all the "modern" conveniences we did without in our 65.
