1976 Excella 500 31' What a dream!

My husband and I have always wanted an airstream. We just picked up a 1976 Excella 500 for $1000.00. The outside is immaculate. The inside is horendous. We are probably going to have to gut it and start over. It looks like it has been rigged over the years and the bathroom floor is close to caving in. Looking forward to the project...just a little intimidated. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the forums Cynthia. Daniel and I both have Excella's and are doing shell off restorations. Daniel is modifying his floorplan and I am keeping the layout original but will updating all the interior finishes.
