Question 1974 24' Argosy Mh

I have acquired a 1974 Argosy mh in rough shape, (sat for 20 years). I got the 454 running, sounds great, drove around the block, trany shifts good. Generator starts from the drawer switch (hot wired) but not from the remote? Being a "classic" is this worth more as is or for parts to help others to fix up there classics? Not sure what to do. Wife says "DO SOMETHING WITH IT". Thanks for any help.

Tom

Hello Fellow Ohioan,
I just joined the board a few days ago myself. I say go for it. You may read one of my posts where I say I'm thinking about giving up, but I’ve changed my mind. I actually want to get a camper now. Anyway, read some posts here on the board about fixing up some of the campers/rv's and see if you feel it’s worth it. I mean if you got if for a reasonable price, and aren’t going to end up sinking your entire life savings into it, definitely go for it. Just my $0.02
