1968 Overlander square interior footage

I just brought a 1968 Overlander up to CT from Tampa with my 1979 Jeep Wagoneer. I am working on getting the systems in working order, then I will work on the interior which is in good shape. There are a couple of minor issues. Crayon or marker on the wood and and an ugly vinal floor.

Any ideas on getting the crayon/marker stains out of the wood short of refinishing?

Does anyone know how many 12 inch floor tiles I will need to relay the floor. I am thinking of cork. (light weight and flexible).
