Greetings. Welcome to the world of vintage aluminum.
The Avions I've seen appear to be well built and nicely appointed. While they are similar there are a number of noteable differences.
There are a few sites that cater to specifically to older Avions. This is a particularly nice one. http://silveravion.com/ . Plenty of links and articals.
Have fun with your new find,
Tom.
Let me say welcome and I am sure you will enjoy your trailer. Give everyone a few details about the trailer we are all here because we like trailers and Silver ones even more. I and the rest of us enjoy hearing about new, old, restored, and even problems.
Ask a question. This is a great site if anyone has information which can help you they will pass it on. Your request may be a little to general. You might want to start with dose anyone knows of a Avion site which may have more informaion on Avion.
Welcome Jim

The site Silver Avion is, strangly enough all about Avions.
And I found the WI Avion Travelcade Club site run by Donald Gradeless to be a wealth of info on Avion trailers. Shoot Dr. G an email and he'll more than likely be happy to answer any specific questoins or point you in the right direction.
