1961 Overlander in need of TLC

We recently purchased a 1961 Overlander. We are under the impression there is no owners manual available and were wondering what others with vintage era Airstreams have done. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

no owners manual but lots of "equipment" literature, like for the heater, refrigerator, water heater, oven/stove . . . you should be able to get it all in "PDF" format.

do you have pictures?

Mark is right, we want to see pictures. What others have done is too open ended of a question. There are so many answers to that inquiry. Can you be more specific, i.e.: interior woodwork, running gear, appliances, waterproofing, lighting, running gear. I think you get the idea. Congrats on your new-to-you trailer. Personally, I believe you have purchased the best era of vintage.

PDF manuals?

MarkR -
Do you have a link to those manuals, by chance?

No, no link but I rec'd a CD from "Sugarfoot" with all the manuals. I have copied it over to my computer so I could forward it onto the next person in line so to speak. Or I could email you something specific but some of the PDF's are quite big so emailing might not be the best way.

Try this link:
www.airstream.net/members/documents/
It has numerous PDF's of old manuals, info shetts and instructions for vintage units. Hopefully you'll find what you're looking for here.
