1956 Flying Cloud in San Clemente, CA

Hello all,

Just wanted to quickly introduce our new 1956 Flying Cloud into the mix.

We're really excited about this.
We really scored on this one!

This one is completely original and will be a great restore project.

The only bummer is that somewhere along the line it was painted a couple of times.

We'll keep everyone posted on the work as we progress.

Welcome to the forums.
Sounds like a real beauty. It will look even better after the paint is gone. Post some pictures when you can.

Will do azflycaster!

Quick question,

is there an "Ongoing Projects" section in the forums or should we just post all of our progress photos in the "Repair Discussions" section?

I would love to keep everyone involved in our project as we transform this beauty back into the Airstream it once was.

There are many on going projects in the forums, but no specific area for them. They are usually in the area of the forums for that model of Airstream. You could also start a Blog for the project as well.

Welcome to the forums from a fellow '56 owner!

Most just start a restoration thread in their tailer model forum yours would be the 1956 Flying Cloud section. Every time you post it will show up in the "new posts" or "portal" page.

Can't wait to see your pictures & progress ~

Shari

Thanks so much for the warm welcome and a point in the right direction!

I'll use the trailer model forums from this point on.
