1956 airstream

hi

just purchased 40 acres in rural pa and in the middle of the property sits a 1956 airstream trailer, considering the age of the trailer doesn't look to bad, is something i would be able to restore or should i walk away?

I have a 56 as well...those hex knobs are quite valuable. It may cost some cash to restore it, but could be a very cool and fun project.3

You give us no clue as to the condition of the trailer or what skills you have to aid in the restoration. Giving advice on if you should buy is impossible.

Unless it is all but crushed I am sure it is restorable by someone. Depending on it's condition the cost may be extreme.

Captain,

I think the Airstream came with the property, so they already own it. It will be easier to restore if they have a barn or indoor workspace as well, but costs could be high and mighty depending on condition.

I'm willing to bet dollars to pesos that it needs floor work somewhere.

PLEASE, photos and if nothing else a Serial Number! So what you really did was buy a vintage Airstream that just happened to be surrounded by 40 acres of land. Seeing that '56 was the year I was born I am very interested in the seeing which model it is. What a great find!
