I'm still looking, I talked to Dave Winick, what a great guy! My Wife and I are still trying to decide exactly the route we would like to follow. It's a lot of money so this decision will not be taken lightly. Any comments from anyone about dealings with any restorers will help the decision process. I live in Kansas City, so going to look at all of their shops is not possible. Do you have any suggestions?

I bought a trailer back in May that Winick had done. He does good work, but he is a one man show. He works by himself, and has no other workers. This creates a very meticulous job, but time and money are higher in the long run.

Keep us posted.

I have looked at several of the Timeless Trailers renovations and all I can say is Wow. I have had a complete tour of the facility and they have ample manpower and space. It would be worth checking them out if you could swing it.

Thanks for the advice I have a need to call list and Brett Hall of Timeless Trailer is on the top of that list. I live close enough to them that I could make a trip there to check out their facility. He returned my email quickly and very professionally. Thanks

I too can vouch for Timeless Travel Trailer...they have a huge shop and do good work on all models of trailers. A bit pricey...but all the PROs are.

Hi oldtrucksrul,
looks as if yours was made in nov 47, and is the 67th or 66th airstream made. mine is 1118 being the 117th or 118th made. what does your tag say? what is the location on the tag? that will tell what site it was made at and maybe when it was sold. A friend of mine has number 1026 and was one of the first produced - like the 26th made. He has a different tag on his as it was made at the first location .
