Wow, how cool! I thought they were only doing the Tommy Bahama in a 27' trailer and the Interstate coach.

Welcome to Airstream living. Have a blast!

welcome to the forum!

I've toured that rig and it's beautiful! a lot of nice features....including that special fold out bathroom door.

I have a 19 myself, and am thinking about doing that mod. the only thing that gives me pause is the price.

congrats on the great rig!

Just returned from two weeks and 4100 miles with our 19' TB. All in all we loved it. However, the first week out everytime that we stopped for the evening something else had fallen off the wall. First the shower mount fell off, then the towel racks, vanity latch broke out from over tightened screws, and the door latch is now binding. But we are getting all of these new rig issues ironed out. We sure got a lot of thumbs up on our journey! https://photos.app.goo.gl/q6gVBUxkJxjpuTZG8

Welcome from Colorado, and welcome to the Airstream community. I wonder if some of the "hooks" that fell off is an adhesive issue, maybe in hot weather. I can't imagine that happening if they were mechanically connected. My old 75 Overlander has most things in the interior riveted or screwed to the interior skins.

I also wonder if the trailer is ridding rough for some reason. Airstreams like to "float" on their axles. I figure I have my weight distribution bars a bit tight on my trailer. And I pull it with a one ton pickup which rides pretty stiff itself. I wish someone like Airstream would provide some data from an "accelerometer" that actually measured the severity of the vibrations in the trailer while towing. Some folks install a air ride hitch attachment to help dampen the vibrations from the tow vehicle. I probably should do this someday.

Anyway, I'm sure your good dealer will get things stuck back to the walls where they belong.

David

Saw one at the Oregon coast this week. Never saw the owner so didn't get to talk.

Thanks for the "Welcome".

They are mechanically attached. It seems that the set screws were either loose to begin with or loosened while traveling. I reattached and tightened them and we will see if they come off again. If so then I will give them a dose of Loctite.
