13 RV's Airstream to Airstream Full Circle

Hi Gang:
I am new to this forum, but not new to RVing. We just bought our 13th RV which is a Vintage 1984 AS 310 Motorhome. Our first RV was a 1963 26 ft AS International Overlander that our family owned not once, but twice. First in 1969, then later in 1981. My youngest son was 6 months old when we started traveling, and he is now 41 years old. All 3 of my children grew up RVing with us as we went North and South and East and West. In all we have logged about 300,000 miles in the US and Canada. The 1984 310 is my restoration project for now, but we will travel in it while restoring it. I just sold my 40 ft Diesel Pusher and went 1 whole day without an RV. I looked at 1984 and bought it the next day! A day without an RV is like a day without sunshine. By the way two of our grown children have RV's too. Before working in sales I taught Automotive Technology at Texas State Technical Institute, so maybe restoring the 1984 will be a new test of old skills.

Welcome to the AS Moho family. We have a 1982 280 that we are still learning about. There are many 310's on the forum so you are in good company. Give us some pics and details.

Cheers, Dan

kmpro - You ought to hop into that '84 moho and join us here at the Texas State Vintage Rally in Montogmery, TX, just a tad north of Houston. There will be tons of restoration seminars, and folks would love to see your latest toy. For a Texan, it's only a short hop down here. So, make it full speed ahead, damn the weather forecasters!! They're usually only partly right anyway. Come on down & join in the fun.

I would like to join you in Montgomery, but AS needs too much TLC to make a haul like that. Please give me a post back for the next Vintage Rally so I can be ready for it!!
