Winter Cover- 2006 Classic

Are there breathable winter covers available to fit our TT such as those available for SOB's?

Should I have posted this on the "Winterizing..." forum?

Not good

Covers will wear through the clear coat on Airstreams as the wind moves them. Better to wax them well and leave it at that.

Thanks, Pahaska. Does your caution also apply to a light dust cover if I can get the TT stored inside?

That should be OK with the trailer protected from wind and rain.

I'm very happy to report that today we arranged for covered storage. It's not ideal, but will work until something better comes along.

Thanks for your help.

Sam

P.S. Pahaska I note that your TT & TV are identical to ours except for year. I take encouragement from that.

Why would you cover your trailer in the winter? It's the nicest time of the year...

I certainly agree. We want it inside when we're not using it; whenever that may be.

Always figured snow was a good cover. It protects the finish real good.
