Nice write up. I also have a 2002 Classic Slider and have done many of the same upgrades. Have you registered your Slider with the Slide Out Society? Look us up on this forum.

Hey Mike,

I joined two before you. #004 in my signature. Thanks anyway. We have a bunch more to sign up now I guess. We can use the publicity.

Woosch - what a bummer. What did you do in the way of repairs? Any advice on what to watch for in terms of these types of leaks?

Regards - Ron

It appears that the damage had been there for quite a while. The floor wasn't soft so didn't suspect anything. I had sealed the space between the rub rail and bumper when we first got it in 2010 on the advice of a fellow Airstreamer. The service manager speculated the damage occurred with the previous owner. Airstream sealed the bumper the same way I did after they replaced the floor. I will be investing in some sort of water detectors
