Sound system wiring -2006 Classic

Greetings: I purchased my 30'so off the dealer, I did not order it from the factory. Therefore it has a Sony radio with CD with 4 speakers throughout the trailer. I have heard that these units were wired for upgraded sound systems including television sound through the 4 speakers. I removed the radio and sure enough there are several sound wires unused. There are two sets of paired red and white Motorola male wires and there is a three wire set with red, white and yellow Motorola male ends. None of these wires are in use. There is also 4 electric wires also unused. Under the sofa there is a wire loom that says Sub Woofer on it.

What I would like to find out is if I can direct the sound from my TV through the 4 speakers using some of these wires. Also I don't know what a sub woofer is or why I might want one installed. I also do not know where these unused sound wires terminate or can be found.

If anyone has information on this issue I would appreciate your input as I would really like to direct my TV sound through the existing four speakers somehow. Thank you for your input.

To direct the TV sound through the speakers, you must hook up the red and white RCA jacks from the output jacks on the TV to the aux in RCA jacks on the radio. When you select "source" on the radio, choose "aux in". The sound will come out of the trailer speakers.
You may have to open the menu on the TV, locate "sound", and choose "external speakers".

My 06 classic has two sets of RCA style wires running to it. the white/red/yellow goes from the Head unit to the TV. The head unit plays DVDs as well. Another set of white/red comes back from the Tele to the Head unit. It is the aux 2 input. Sub woofer is under the Couch ans has a red/white RCA to it as well. so thats three sets of wire accounted for!

Thank you for responding. What I need to know is where I can find the TV end of the wires. I was told they were in the wall by the 110 plug on the TV shelf, but I took of the three wall plates there and no wires were found. Where are your connections for the TV located?

Well, my TV is mounted on the wall for the fridge. The wires may be lying on the fridge mounting floor. A small inspection mirrow and flashlight would be the key to finding the wires.

Hello Michelle
Your replies have been helpful. One last question though. Since your TV is mounted on the wall do the wires from the radio simply come through a hole or is there a wall plate with the corresponding plug-ins? In either case where is the hole or wall plate located exactly? On the fridge wall or the side wall or where? Lastly, do you have outside speakers and if so are they wireless? And do you have a DVD player as well? Is this more than one question? Thank you.

The wires come out of a hole in the mounting plate for the swing arm. The TV is mounted in the middle of the wall.
I do not have outside speakers. The DVD player is built into the head unit. There are two sets of wires to from the head unit to the TV. Aduio and Video out and Audio in.
