An unusual situation and it only has one slide in it, ours. No all's well, sort of.

Camp only had TWO rigs mine and of all creations a land yacht from MN.

Nice fall afternoon around the campfire and then the park mr fixit guy shows up, on a mini back hoe. Crap.

Starts back hoe digging around a "leaking spigot" (but no visible h2o) and about a minute later miniature old faithful.

He reports to me, sorry gotta shut the water off as he inspects a broken pvc pipe and regulator.

I calmly observe the supply of clean water trying to fill a lake that is 6' below full. Now what?

QUICK FILL BUCKETS AND THE COFFEE POT!

Then the aha moment, FILL THE TANK!

Scurry to move hose over to tank, where'd that blankety blank key?

Got a good at least overnight fill up.

Last outing the convertor, now the park water supply.

At least it ain't snowing.

Nice that it's not the Trailer! You can come up with some work arounds for problems in the park.

Speaking of snow...there was some light stuff in southern Maine yesterday...just 25 miles north of us.

Enjoy your adventure!

Water came back late yesterday, campfire is well underway and stars are coming out.

Not too bad and NO snow!

Hi Paul S/OS #064 !!!

The Forums have lot's of different places to categorize info.

Generally you could think of them as a bunch of different filing cabinets (Community Forums, Restoration & Repair, Knowledge base, & Marketplace).

Each of those specific cabinets have multiple drawers to break down the general topics into more specific subforum drawers. Those subforum drawers contain multiple threads like different pieces of paper in a folder.

Anyhow you might find some answers in the Admin/New Member section in the form of stickies that talk about how everything works.

http://www.airforums.com/forums/f138/

You can also use your "User CP" or "Quick Links" to send Private Messages to other members on the forum.

All the best!

I have had a 34 for over 6 years now. Have never been to a campground that I was not able to get in one of their sites. It tows better than my previous Airstream (31 foot) and it is easier to back into a camp site than a shorter one.

Rene and Irene, I was born in Calexico. My family has a ranch off of Bonds Corner road between Bonds Corner and Holtville. They are the Yeargin family. I’ve moved far over my 64 years from the valley but still consider it home. I have a 2005 28’ w/ slide. Hope to run into you sometime.

Thanks all from S/OS#080! Happy Holidays to all. Our 30 foot Classic W S/O is a 2006 Limited Anniversary Edition. We tow with a 2014 Ram 2500 Laramie. We currently are in the middle of removing the Dinette. (Done 6 screws.) Easiest demolition I have ever done! Replacing with a desk and two cabinets. I would upload pictures but i don't seem to have that easy option here. Am I missing something?

Picture upload is under the Go Advanced tab. Under Additional Options, click on Manage Attachments. You will get a menu to select up to four files to upload. After you upload those four, you can do it again....
