Yes, I need one. Mine broke where it attaches. Are they pre-bent, or do I have to get a straight one and bend it? My valves are Thetfords, not Valterra, if that matters.

Al,

I'll contact my "source" and confirm but IIRC I saw exact matches Z and all. Then I'll let you know and you can deal direct with them.

At Alumalina this fall the charter members of Slide Out Society met and the S/OS was founded.

Charter members:

GCinSC2 Gary & Linda, S/OS #001
Don Connolly S/OS #002
SeeMore Dave & Susan S/OS #003

Don picked up a garaged gem of a rig this year, easy to spot with its smoked plexiglas (?) rock guards.
SeeMore has two Great Danes that, well ya just gotta see that pair of well behaved ponies.

Membership requirements, simple, own an Airstream Slide Out Trailer.
Sign up and keep the numbering consecutive and post your S/OS number in your signature and a pic is always welcome.

Yes, my Airstream does have a slide out.

Silver.Gypsy,

Greetings from thawing out SC after our bit of an ice storm event (at least in my neck 'o the woods) yesterday. Glad you found a slide out and our group of sliders.

Make sure if you have any questions bring 'em on and are you new to RV camping or old hands at it?

And now for the drum roll please, Silver.Gypsy you are officially S/OS#122 welcome and safe travels.

Gary

Silver.Gypsy,
Welcome to the Forum! Welcome aboard our little Slider Group!

Congratulations Silver.Gypsy with S/OS #122!
2006 Classic 30' S/O

Just to put things in perspective your 2006 30" Classic is 1 of 42 built for that model year. Pretty cool having a little rare silver S/O.

Enjoy many adventures with your new rig!

I've updated our member lists so everyone can see where we're at! Two pages to list all our S/O Membership now, and our model counts.

Gary - Glad to hear your thawing out down there. The NH Seacoast is being beaten with Rain and Wind from the storm you sent us...inland and up north big snow fall. 38Mph gusts here at the house, off shore at the Isle of Shoals 70+ gusts. Fortunately it's a fast mover and should be outta here in a few hours. Power is intact so far...

Tom - S/OS #025

Al,

E-mailed Mary last week and she knows what we're looking for and then I called this AM and she's still looking for it. Good chance I can visit tomorrow and do some leg work. It a treasure of parts and stuff for Airstreams but a bit cluttered as a mild way to put it. And it's the same place I got my slide from.

Gives me a chance to peruse the parts aisles again too.

Gary

Does anyone have a source to find out values of our various model slide-outs. I have mine insured for a declared value, from 2016, but feel like with the recent value increases in Airstreams that I would probably lose if I don't update to a current value. Currently 2003 Safari with slide, excellent condition.

Hi Rockwell - Great question! I don't have a direct answer but I'll point you at a thread where they discuss declared value and how they arrived at the number via a "Professional Appraisal".

https://www.airforums.com/forums/f35...am-230947.html

That should get you pointed in the right direction...unfortunately those "Blue Book" numbers aren't doing us any good in the used market.

Number of Slide-outs made.

Is there a known quantity of airstream slide out made, to date?

Hozho,

Well good morning from SC all the way to Langley WA, I had to see where that is. Looks like sorta near Seattle but not in the hustle & bustle at all. Wow! And only 2800 miles from your sister city of Langley SC it's near Augusta GA if you've never heard of it, I hadn't either.

We don't know if you're a seasoned RV'er or newbie but my only do this first advice is to LEVEL first then STABILIZE and then you get to SLIDE OUT.

Make sure you you post any questions here we have lots of answers, possibilities or outright bluffing you get to figure it out.

So membership time.

Again the drum roll and Hozho you S/OS#123 catchy isn't it, 123.

Welcome and safe travels.

Gary

No worries, believe Hozho will become the name of our Airstream.

It has been said that Hózhó may be the most important word in the Navajo language. Often translated as ‘balance and beauty’ the concept of Hózhó carries with it an important emphasis on states of harmony.

lmaubry,

I thought I was going crazy. I saw Hozho and thought in error it was your AF handle but now I see where I picked it up from.

That's a really cool name and thought for your AS.

Safe travels.

Still trying to figure out everything in our trailer, hoping folks can provide some incite. Is there a link somewhere that kind of details of how to use the Black/Brown/Fresh water tank Monitor near the sink. Or any of those simple things? We did get the Airstream satchel with a bunch of stuff in it, but didn’t find say an operating manual to say.

Thanks in advance for the knowledge.
