Hi Philcan56 - I reached out to AirStream Customer Service in Sept 2017 and they provided me with production numbers from their records. We include the information in every member update post...maybe you haven't reviewed it. I've included it for reference.

I see there are 5 s/is and 5 forum and - a/s for the 03 Safari. So what does a dash indicate?

Hi Phil,

According to their records...they didn't make any...LOL

We obviously know different, my take on it is that the customer service rep got confused with model year transitions. Just like it's 2019, but they're manufacturing 2020 models so what year is it??? My 2008 S/O was actually built in 2007, but my truck's a 2015 that was actually built in 2015.

We had this discussion many posts ago when they released the information. Because there are others also with a 2003 model. We explained to the rep the issue providing a VIN etc, and they confirmed what we were telling them. She replied that they'd probably lumped it into 2004 records. She indicated she was gonna research it more, but never provided any other data.

Gary and Tom, thanks for getting us registered. We are getting back into RVing after being away for quite a few years . This is our first Airstream and we are really happy that we found a nice SO. Looking forward to some extended trips coming up soon!!

I designed and ordered a set of PC boards, but I didn't get the hole size right so the relays didn't fit and looking at the lands I realized I didn't make the lands big enough for the motor current.

New design is done but I'm otherwise occupied for a few weeks so I won't order the new boards for a while.

I actually looked at my rear stabilizers the other day pondering moving curb side switch to curb side.

Decided to for now leave that sleeping dog alone. Can be done would have to remove switches separate relocate and run power to curb. They packed that switch group fairly tightly.

Remote I’ll be watching.

It’s already sold! He had over 1500 views and a dozen serious buyers. It sold for asking price or very close. Noggin is too cheap! Haha. That’s my bro!
Seller was a great guy. His family just lost interest in camping. I requested that he tell the new owner about our society.

My friend Matthew Owen got it started last year. Not trying to subtract from here at all but if folks are more familiar with another platform, let's use all the places!
