Limited

I am considering buying a newer wide body Airstream. I notice from the price value info I have that around 2003-2006 there is an extra charge for the Limited package. There is also a pretty large price jump. What are the differences between std and Ltd versions and what is the easiest way to identify if an Airstream is the Limited version? One that I see on the Forums has a 75th Anniversary package. What is that? Where is the best place on the web to look up older (2000-2009) model specs even though I do not think that they have changed much.

Thanks

please FOLLOW the linked threads that are embedded in the threads above as well.

those links will take you to more details, which aren't gonna be retyped.

along with the limited vs basic classic info above,

there were changes MID production year in 2005 which resulted in LARGER cargo/carry capacity...

and the addition of disc brakes.

starting ~with 07s, the limited moniker was applied to all the classics, but with LESSER content than the 04-06 units.

cheers

Thanks,

Thanks for the reply. There is more to an Airstream than just a pretty face. The info sure explained a lot that I never though of. One last thing. Is there a nameplate on the outside that identifies an Airstream as a Limited?

Now the problem is to find a late model Airstream.

yes there is a name plate

and 'gold accent' vinyl lettering spelling out...

limited or LTD on the sides and rear.

cheers
