Curtains in 2010 30 ft. Classic Limited

Has anyone had any problems with the odor emitting from their curtains in the summer when it is hot out. Our curtains emit a very strong smell (almost could be mistaken for the black tank odor) when the sun hits them in the summer months. I have checked with AS and they told me it was the fire retardant and that I could not dry clean them as this would remove the retardant. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks

We've washed ours in a couple of trailers. You would be shocked at the dirt that comes out of them. We do it in the tub by hand with cold water and Oxi Clean. Have not noticed any odors from the curtains.

We had our 2010 curtains dry cleaned last year. They had really become soiled just due to air coming in and out over the past four years. Never did notice any smell before or after cleaning, but re-installing them on the rails was difficult task - not looking fwd to doing this again!
