Classic Slide-Out. How many built?

I saw the PanAmerican thread question, and it started me wondering...

Can't tell you, how many times I've had campers say something like: "seen lots of these silver bullets, but never saw one with a slide-out"

It's my understanding they built the slide on classics/safari's between the years 2000-2009.

Anybody know how many out there?

Absolutely, we love it.

The slide gave us the extra room of a 34', without the extra length.
Plus, the tongue weight ratio is far better than other models.

If I had to make a SWAG, I'd say one per month. That would put us at 108.

That's pretty rare, indeed.

Speaking of tongue weight on a slide-out, we weighed the tongue of a 34' slide model owned by one of out unit members a couple of months ago, and it was above 1300 lbs. Can't remember the exact number, but above 1300....heavy.

We throughly enjoy our 28' Safari slide - even rarer. Never had a slide issue and tongue weighs in at 1054 lbs. This unit has the greatest carrying capacity of the slides with room for almost 2,000 lbs of additional cargo.

Nice. I bet that 1054# hits the magic 15% TW ratio..

That is rare. I saw a 30' BH S/O at a CG, once. Only other slide I've ever seen.
