Brake controller on Classic 07

I'm moving up to an 07 31' Classic with disc brakes and electric hydraulic brakes. Can i use the same brake controller that I have used in my 07 25' Int'l that did not have hydraulics?

You'd need to check whether it has a electric/hydraulic setting.

I use the Tekonsha P3 for my Classic. Pairs very nicely with the Dexter 1600 actuator. Something this model has, that I've not seen on others, is the "Boost" setting. This provides 4 different levels of 'aggression' for the trailer brakes... basically works to have the trailer brakes 'lead' the TV braking. Kind of a 'precognition', if you will.

Don't know if there's a resource that shows all the brake controllers out there, and their specifications....

but, I can tell you: the E-350 Integrated Brake Controller does NOT have E/H function, while the F series IBC's do. Go figure.

I agree with Boondockdad. I have had the Tekonsha P3 for 2-3 years and it is awesome. Its easy to install and easy to use.

Make sure the hydraulic brake recalls have been performed; brake lines and actuator check it its the Actibrake controller. I had the dealer selling my 2008 Classic 25fb perform the recalls. I negotiated the replacement of the Actibrake with a Dexter 1600.

I use a Tekonsha P2. It has a setting from hydraulic brakes.
