back up camera

Has anyone mounted a backup camera on their 31' classic. Not sure where to run the wires, etc. Not too keen on the wireless models. Just not getting good reviews on the wireless camera's. pics would be helpful.
Thanks in advance.

There are a couple of threads going on about that, here is one

I'd love to have one, but so far have not found one I like at a price I'm willing to pay.

Good Luck!

Hi Matt,

Mobile Optics has a nice set-up that I just purchased. I have the 2 camera set-up and plan to nount one on my Sprinter for hooking up and the other on the back of my CCD for backing in.

You can get a single camera with 3.5" flat screen for $450 MSRP and the dual system for $675. The camera is the smallest I have seen and works well in low light, plus it's fully waterproof as well.

BTW, the picture clatity is very good....much better than the wireless models!

PEP Boys is selling one for $99 and J.C. Whitney is selling the same thing for $119. Small, but might just do the job.

Michelle,

Whet type of input jack do you need? This is key, as I wanted to connect the system I just got to my in-cab lap top, but could not find a compatible connection anywhere.

It looks pretty nifty. Apparently you can use an existing monitor if you already have on installed. Not sure where would mount the camera.
