As related earlier, my drop down counter brackets broke. Some of you have found the new style brackets and others have gone back with the old. I tried a couple places, (Inland and Out of Doors Mart) and there was much confusion regarding the new brackets, and I ended up getting the old style. They are easy to put in, but I didn't like the idea of them breaking again while we are on the road so here is my solution. I have no idea if this will work.
Here is how they break:
So on my new, unbroken brackets, I took some tape:
and some JB Weld:
Filed off the rough edges:
and created a fillet spanning the corner where they seem to break. I will install them this way and hopefully forget about them. If it breaks, I will post it here.
