I did. They gave me Dandy in Anniston. But, a couple of forum members indicated they weren't pleased with past service from them (see previous posts). I'm still looking for someone closer than Montevallo if that is possible. Montevallo is about 125 mi from here. I would like to find someone located between south of Nashville and north of Birmingham that does good service at a reasonable price. I have a guy that worked on my previous units but he isn't an Airstream dealer/servicer. I would like someone who has Airstream experience and access to parts.

au_ee, did you ever find someone in North Alabama to help you?

FWIW, I either do repairs/maintenance myself, or I drive to Alachua, Florida. Friends of mine used a central alabama area rv repair company to change their Fantastic fan ... well, they ended up with a massive dent in their roof. Another friend used Dandy to diagnose and repair a leak ... $10,000 dollars later, he found PROPER and knowledgable repair in Alachua, Florida. I hope you found someone close to you, but be careful about what you allow non Airstream experts do.

BTW, I heard Sonny in Montevallo is truly an expert. Unfortunately, he's mostly a one man crew and keeps a long waiting list.
