2007 25FBT Classic Limited

We are considering a 2007 25FBT - pros & cons of this travel trailer? We are selling our 2009 Tiffin Allegro Open Road 32BA - loosing lots of extra room but ready to go back into a travel trailer etc. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

We have a 2009 25FB with twin beds. Have loved it from the start easy to back in and a lot of the State and Federal parks limit size.

Have you sold the Tiffin? A good friend is looking to move up from their class C and that would be a good move for them.

If indeed a Classic Limited, and a 25-footer, that's almost a unicorn. Gorgeous wood interior, and small enough to fit in any park. Jump on it. Looking forward to your pics.

I’m intrigued- we have just gotten ourselves a Classic Limited 25 ft with twin beds in the rear - are these units in some way sought after ?

Hello Ken,
We are about to go look at a 2007 Classic, with twins in the rear, just wondering how yours is working out for you.

We sold our 2012 Tiffin Allegro RED last fall...too much maintenance, always something! Thinking less maintenance ,hopefully, with an Airstream.
Any advice you could give me is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Al

2007 Classic

Hi Albie
We had a few problems that the PO “forgot” to mention !
There had been a leak into the bedroom near the side window, or so it appeared, in fact the roof fan surround was cracked at every screw hole and then covered with caulk on top of old caulk, the water had run under the flooring under the curbside bed and settled into the corner of the trunk at the rear where it rotted the wood, the PO (or should I say POS) had cut out the rot and replaced the wood without solving the leak, the leak had followed the ribs down to the floor, so that might be something to look for.
We had a problem with the 120 v water heater, it needed a new control panel, about $130 I think and the PO failed to tell us that the non return vacuum valve for the black water tank was missing, this led to a flood in the bathroom on the first time we tried to use it.
We decided that the twins were not big enough for us and I ended up pulling the beds apart and then rebuilding into a king size which also allowed me to join the two side storage compartments and achieve a huge pass through storage area under the bed.
The Hickory wood doors etc are really nice but very heavy = worth it for the looks thou. All in all we are really pleased with the Classic, it suits us very well ( 2 adults, one medium size mutt and the biggest Golden Retriever ever seen) .. it’s been a learning curve but we both love it . Best of luck
Ken

We have an 07 international 25fb. We enjoy our unit 8+ year's full time. Great size but be ready to do some work. 07 has a reputation of leaks in the rear of the unit.
