Dehumidifier for Bambi 19' CCD

We have been really enjoying the new 2006 Bambi 19'. Went out last weekend in Florida, had the A/C on Medium/Cold - yet still had some humidity in the unit (though it was cool enough). Says in the manual that for best dehumidifer effect, use on High/Cool. Weather cooled down the next night and could not try it out.

Questions:

1. Have any of you had any excess humidity when staying in hot areas in your AS - even with the A/C on max?

2. Does the A/C unit always bring in outside air on all settings?

3. Have you ever used a dehumidifier?

Thanks for all your help. Fine little rig...

we use a dehumidifier in storage

we bought a dehumidifier at Lowe's and run it while the AS is in storage (we live in Houston). We set the unit on the counter and have a drain hose that goes into the sink. Seems to work really well as we come back to the unit and it smells crisp and fresh. Haven't tried it for long term storage yet (over 3 weeks) but I doubt it could fill a gray tank in 30 days if nobody is going in/out of the unit.

We haven't yet tried to bring the dehumidifier on the road... its pretty big (12" x 12" x 30", approx)
