1965 where can I get this part?

There are six of these on our 65 overlander, 3 on front and three on back. THese are rectangular and we need both the cover and the housing for some of them. Can we find these lights or is there something else we need to change to?

I bet you can find those at www.vintagetrailersupply.com. They have a good website with a lot of replacement parts for our Airstreams.

Feel lucky. Yours are flush mounted and can be replaced with off the shelf markers. Those are a true rectangle. The one silverleeper shows has rounded ends. If you have recessed rear lights good luck. In 5 years I found one at a swap meet.

If you've not looked at this site it may help you see what may have originally been on the unit. Good luck finding your lights.....

You can find those clearance lights many places.

They are not original Airstream equipment for your trailer.

You might consider LED replacements, which are far superior.

Andy Including mine I have seen 3 mid 70s with recessed ,over 1/4" , rectangle markers. Before my find I shaved several with out luck. If you know where I get some extras I would appreciate it.

Airstream has used "surface" mounted clearance lights from day one.

I have never seen a recessed or flush mounted clearance light on any Airstream.
