Refrigerator Pilot light

For those of you who are still using your old manual light pilot light, how or what do you use to light the pilot? It's about a 2 foot distance from the front of the fridge and my arm won't make the distance. I'm looking at the
Camco 57549 Olympian GM-3X Gas Match but just not sure that it's the right tool.

My refrigerator is a few years older than yours, so maybe they're not the same. But mine has a tube that runs to the front of the refrigerator that fills with gas when you push the little red button to light the light. When you light the front of the tube, it carries the flame back to the burner. It works pretty well when it's in place, but it tends to fall off. So I usually just lay on the floor and reach back to the burner with a long lighter.

Comes out my previous owner has two flint striker rods that are how you light the pilot on a 1966 Dometic M 52 refrigerator. I got it lit but no cold on LP. I have spent the last two months researching how to get this thing working on LP. It works great on electric but nothing on LP. Then I stumbled onto an original service manual for the M 52 and sure enough it did explained how to clean the burner barrel and orifice. I adjusted the air intake a little bit. And voila, my 50-year-old refrigerator is working beautifully on both gas and electric. I'm so excited!

Same fridge issue - scan manual?

ChuckZ, I am having the same fridge issue as you did, good pilot, but no cooling. Can you point me to the manual for guidance on cleaning burner barrel, etc?
Thanks!
