Did a horse step on your barefoot? Did you drop an anvil on it? I think you should take some time off and get that healed up. I hope it isn't fractured. You will get better soon I'm sure.

Iím back .

Just finished up some R&R and my foot is much better . While I was out of town I stopped by to see Bubba and his projects . Man was I impressed.
The conversation got around to an early Airstream light that goes over the sink . I had never seen one but Mr . B had a picture and made me a drawing. Didnít have the same louvre dies but made one with what I had . Hope it will work for him .

Also stopped by one of our favorite watering holes while we were in Bubbas neighborhood.

Great photo of you on that vintage Harley in front of a vintage post office. Glad your rear paw is healing up nicely. And yes, very impressive sheet metal work on Bubba's galley light fixture. His 55 Airstream is hard to beat. Your 67 will be too.

Iím back at it .

Not much to show . Pulled the tail light wires through the conduit I put in the frame front to back . Wired in on rear side and tested . All OK .
Also bent up the copper line out of water heater to under the rig . Capped off bottom . Checked everything in bath area to see if I forgot anything before I install the original bath back in place .

Everything is a go . Got the tub and back piece in place . Will hook up the drain line out of the tub and should go pretty fast after that . Hope to have the bath done by next weekend. Blue

Good your healed back up and can hobble around your shop some. Pull wires here, bend propane lines there, fit the tub and hope for the best. It all takes time, especially me.

Now, what are those "door thingys" Bubba L sent you? Inquiring minds want to know.

Work , work , work !

Spent most of Sunday and few hours today getting the aluminum trim for my bath in shape . The piece that goes around the tub at the base was really in bad shape and had to be sanded with 6 different grades of sandpaper to get the pits out . Then they all got straightened before polish.

All total the 6 pieces took 7 hours . Used my big polisher with brown compound first then the white . Looks good enough for a bath . Had to go to town for some sealer to go on top of shower walls before I put the last two pieces on .

Onward through the fog . David I didnít get any pictures of the door thingy . But will tomorrow so stay tuned .

Hi there,

Your bath is looking great. The teal hue has personality. Hope you saved all the plastic that snaps onto the metal trim you've restored. I don't know if anyone has found replacement plastic that's similar.

If you don't mind, Since it appears that your bathtub wall is open, I have a question that you might have an opinion about. Referring to this picture, do you think that if there was a 4Ē deep VTS Holding tank (outlined in blue) installed in the bay just forward of the original black tank, does it appear that it could vent to the shower vent stack hidden in the pocket door wall? Seems to me that there's room in there for a connection (approximated by the red pipe) that would not interfere with the main frame rail?

There's so many hours hidden in the details of a craftsman's work.Your fabrication skills will ensure a very interesting travel trailer.
