Where did the posting go?

Yesterday on here around lunchtime I read a really neat posting. A fellow had an idea to cut the back off one trailer and the front off another and combine the two to make a super long Airstream. He was asking about the frame and other issues. The thread progressed and another person included a link to a former thread. One of the postings contained a photo of an Airstream shell that had apparently been placed upon a tri axle Bulldozer trailer. The guy who built it put a diamond plate motorcycle hauler area up on the tongue. The frame looked to be 8" channel. The bulldozer hauler was wider than the Airstream, so he built a crude looking fairing to replace the banana wrap (it was very boxy looking). I grabbed the photo and have it, but went back last night to read the full thread (didn't have time on lunch break) and can't seem to locate it. I thought it was on the "portal" area as a current thread.

What happened to this post? I've searched seven ways to Sunday to try and find it or the linked one but cannot. Can somebody help me? I just saw this yesterday and it was a very interesting topic. I should think it'd be under the axle forum, but do not see it.

Help!

It's in the off topic forum. Posts on the portal page get bumped as new ones appear. You can find the thread here.

I think there should be a better place to put the XL trailer question than 'Off-topic.' After all, it is an airstream topic. I didn't see a forum where it fits though.

There should be a forum for 'outside the box' ideas, like the XL airstream and the Futurliner thread.

The puppy mill thread was so far off-topic it needs it's own website. Just not here!

Exclamation Not off if we are dog owners

Mark .. Sorry but I have to disagree with you... a great many RV'ers are dog owners.. and a/s owners are RV'ers .. anyone who cares about pets would be upset about this subject of debarking dogs as to not bother anyone .. 600 dogs on 40 acres.. give me a break... this is important to us all... and where do the threads go... moderators.. would someone please answer this???

That thread is available again in the pet section. We had to remove an off topic post from it.

Markdone and HappyCampers you are playing the telephone game here.

Happy Campers you were refering to the moved Puppy Mill thread.

Markdone was refering to the XL Trailer thread - the two are not related.
