What am I missing

I am the 3rd owner of a Safari 23 and recently noticed while laying on my back inspecting under the rear bumper section that there are several screws with bits of black plastic still connected in a pattern around the black drain pipe leaving the camper. Was this some kind of protective cover that broke off? Are these available in the aftermarket? Maybe someone could share a picture with me of what it looks like. Then I could fab one out of aluminum if they are not available.
Thanks in advance

A picture would help clarify your question. Is this in the area surrounding the pipe's exit from the pan? On mine, there is a slit piece of rubber (a collar) that serves as an air trap to keep the warmer air in the belly and prevent freezing.

I hope this helps. Maybe you could share a pic of that rubber collar.

No access to a camera at the moment, but I found a similar image (below) on the web. The dump pipe is to the left with the collar. The other is the rubber flap found on both valve stems. In this case , the finger is pointing to the grey tank valve opening.

Your second picture post arrived while I was replying. Your particular setup does not match mine. However, it does not appear to be a critical issue. I would not be worried.
