I need some welding done on my frame and wondering if anyone knew of a good welder or atleast somewhere good to get some material to fabricate the rear frame, bumper, and crossmember. Thanks

Based on my buying experience at Bates and the comments that I heard from a few repair customers in their lot, I wouldn't let them change a light bulb in my trailer! YMMV!

Lew,

Did they try to bury your trailer in the back forty??? LOL!

I can't vouch for their service...I just knew they were near Orlando since Rob Baker used them to repack the bearings on his '54 Safari during his Recovery/Disney trip.

Not quite, but they might have just dug it out as they never touched a thing when I arrived to pick up the trailer, and I insisted that they keep their colletive hands off and let me do everything. Frank Bates even paid me to do it right ......and even offered me a job as well !!!

Lew,

If you were closer to me I'd offer to put you to work too. A newbie like me can always use help from a seasoned veteran like you. Luckily for me... the internet allows me to eavesdrop on your expertise. Thanks!
