Check the door gasket. If a dollar bill will easily pull through the gasket then you have a problem. Also check the rivets around the door frame and see if any are loose. Anything leaking on that same section of wall could end up there. There is most likely a gap there where the C-channel meets that door frame. Anything that accumulates in that C-channel will leak out next to the door.

I had the same damage to my '85 Sovereign. Was able to cut out the bad flooring to just under the cabinet with the heat register, then under the door sill to the side rail holding up the floor edge. As it turned out the leak was from the window frame to the right of the door. Sikaflex fixed it. The flooring beams were still perfect and the screws acually srcewed right out and I was able to reuse them after a little wire wheeling. Good luck with the project. If interested, I may have some pictures of the work, let me know if you want me to find them and post them. BTW, what kind of Airstream do you have?

Is the kitchen sink near the door? Has the plumbing system been pressurized (i.e., used) lately? If it has, it is possible that this water is from a plumbing leak from the kitchen sink area. Get in under there and look around use a mirror and flashlight as necessary.

Getting dry... do you have a dehumidifier/ or put a fan blowing in the area! Also, hit with some Clorine bleach mix...

I sprayed with about a 50-50 water bleach solution. Any stains I found I sprayed. Washed and bleached curtains and washed mouse fur. It smells so much better!!
