Tried Gluvit for Sealing Ply Edges?

Several years ago I used a marine product called Gluvit to make a darkroom sink.I got it at a boat supply.I built a plywood box for the sink and painted one coat on.I then put one layer of fiberglass cloth in the seams and put one more coat on top.
It is like a very thick polyurethane and my sink has not changed or leaked for 15 yrs.

Steve,

Thanks! I looked online for Gluvit and found interestingly that it works to seal leaks in aluminum. Here's what it says about Gluvit 'On wooden hulls, Gluvit seals and protects planks and sheeting against water absorption and damage from marine parasites. On aluminum hulls, Gluvit seals seams and rivets and acts as a barrier coat to minimize galvanic corrosion. On jet skis, rowboats and canoes, Gluvit provides abrasion resistance to protect hull sides and bottoms from damage by grounding on beaches or rocks.
For maximum ultraviolet protection, must be painted after cure
2 lb. unit covers 25-35 square feet, when applied at 6-8 mils
8 lb. unit covers 100-130 square feet at the same thickness'

I did not look online, just thought it might be a good application for sealing floor.I bought it locally in Dallas years ago after my lab tech suggested it for the sink.
Wow!The face it seal aluminum and guards against corrosion opens up a world of possibilities!

I've used it on plywood and fiberglass. Pretty amazing stuff.
