Progress today

No helper today just me.
Removed gaucho, sofa and small cabinet. It was a good day and it all went smoothly.

Next up, galley and bath.

I've often wondered...during the de-construction phase, is it 'Progress' or 'digress'?

Any one know what this rusted area to the left of the entrance step should look like? Did it have aluminum over it originally?
I will need to replace it and would love to see it in its original form.
Any pictures would be great.
I see the picture is rotated 9o degrees. Not sure why.
Thanks!

It looked like that originally, just with a better looking coat of paint
