JP, I had a leak similar to yours in back. AlanSD suggested that I seal the end cap seams on the outside of the camper all the wy up to the top. Bingo! No more leak. Of course, I had only three end segements to seal, yours has seven, doesn't it? That may work for you as well. MAybe.

that's interesting. i sealed the inside of the shell before insulating it... many moons ago... with that alcoa stuff. it really does a great job. but in thinking about it, that only stops the leak once it's between the 2 lapped skins. when you look right above the window frame, you can see water coming inbetween teh part of the window frame, and the "C" channel that makes up the top of the window opening. i assumed it was leaking in on top of the window frame, but i could be wrong, i guess. might as well try it. i've got a little more to do on the other project before i move forward on this one anyway.
JP, I sealed every external seam with ParBond. So far no leaks. I not sure I fully understand what you have been working on. Just thought I'd share this information.

Well, I'm beginning to think i should STOP playing with the details on this trailer, and start finishing it up, huh? having said that, i couldn't resist putting a port hole window in the door. i REALLY like it! I've got some hex head screws coming from McMaster, that should really set it off nicely (the philips are temporary).
the second pic is teh exterior trim ring, and the last pic is the interior one. VERY clean! Poppa Like!
eBay, of course! but they hardly ever come up. You can buy them at SailorSams.com, if you're impatient like me! ha! they are called "deadlights", and not recommended for exterior use (on a ship, at least). the one i got, though has safety glass, and is really well sealed. it's already passed the rain test with flying colors (poured this afternoon).
