Let there be COLOR!!!!

well, after looking at wood all these months, it sure was nice to add a little color to the trailer. A lot of things are happening out of order here, in an attempt to have this thing somewhat camp-able by the first weekend in November. My upholstery lady has finished the mattress, and is in the process of finishing the front couches. In the meantime, the laminate came in, so i switched gears from the windows to tackle that. Both pieces are in and cleaned up. Next is the trim.

I still need to finish trimming 2 windows, build the new shelf, finish the doors for the galley cabinets, finish the plumbing, build 4 more doors for the bottom with the perf-ed aluminum... and the list goes on and on... I really wonder how much of this will be complete by November.

There's always the April rally! ha!

WOW JP. This trailer is looking great. You are doing an outstanding job on the interior. I look forward to seeing it at Falluminum.

Looking great. I love the contrast of color. What model fridge is that, if you don't mind me asking?

It'll be a "partial trailer" by then, anyway!

:-D

yep. I used the larger one in our trade wind. Same manufacturer. You see these in a lot of campers now, probably due tot he low cost. We towed from Atlanta, GA to Natural Bridge, VA with it loaded up, and a couple of frozen bottles of drinking water in there for insurance. Everything was still cold when we got there, after 10 hours on the road. That's longer than we like to haul in a day, so it's passed my litmus test.

We don't camp anywhere without a plug, so no worries there, either.

Hey, that's not what your TW looks like inside anymore!

More great work on the Silver Pickle of course. I think I should just copy that remark onto my clipboard and paste it every time I click over here!

Now, not to touch on a potentially sore subject, but I saw you mention that you have yet to address some of the tanks. With the floor in and the furniture installed, I'm wondering how you plan to address that? I have no doubt you'll be able to, just curious how you plan to approach it.

Keep it up, I can't wait to see it with all of the fabrics, trim, and finishing touches!

The openings are already there for the tank, I just haven't mounted it yet. In the rush to get a tent for the inlaws, I skipped over a few non-essentials... Like a toilet, tanks, etc... ha! Those will be my winter projects. I'm hoping to have it 100% by SpringStream.

:-D

Cool, thanks. As long as you don't buy any more boats, you should be just fine by Springstream.

Well, since I began this adventure, I've had 2 lovely children (2 1/2 and 9 months), started a new business, bought 2 other Airstreams a John Deere, AND restored a Feathercraft. ha!

so that's technically 2 lifetimes, isn't it? It certainly feels like it at times! Sometimes I read back through the blog for fun. It's a novel at this point!

Honestly... no clue. And before you ask, I PROMISED myself I'd never add up the receipts.
